Our Philosophy

There shouldn’t be a tradeoff between convenience and quality. That’s why we created a way to cook the same premium pasta you can get in Italy quickly and portably. The result is stove-top-quality pasta meals in just 3 minutes with no cleanup.

Primi honors the integrity of Italian pasta while adapting it to be more convenient for our busy lives, using innovations in rapid-cook technology and high-standard ingredients. We’re proud to bring taste, freshness, dignity, and beauty to meals prepared in minutes.

  Buon Appetito!

Our Beginnings

Primi’s founder, Paolo, was born and raised in Sicily, Italy. Later, he built a life in America.

During 2020, he observed his children eating instant meals high in sodium, fat, and artificial ingredients. While preparing a dinner of traditional Italian orzo one night, he realized there should be a way to achieve the same convenience of instant meals with the high-quality, nutritious pasta he cooks on the stove. And to do so in a way that retains the taste and texture of stove-top pasta. He set off to Italy to develop first-of-their-kind pasta products that are as healthy and delicious as they are quick and convenient.

Our Process

We understand that time is precious. That's why we’ve perfected our process to ensure you enjoy great-tasting pasta without the hassle. Our innovative rapid-cook technology lets you have satisfying al dente pasta on the table in just minutes.

Primi guarantees that every bite of our pasta is packed with freshness, flavor, and nutrition, allowing you to bring the essence of Italian cuisine anywhere.

Our Flavors

Pasta is one of Italy’s gifts to the world. It is a food that relies on the quality of its ingredients to be exceptional.

We take pride in sourcing the highest quality ingredients to create our pasta. And our commitment to clean eating means all our pasta cups are non-GMO and preservative-free.

Our durum wheat comes from the Pianura Padana region of Northern Italy, and our tomatoes and other fresh ingredients come from the Po Valley. Primi’s cheeses are aged in Parma, Italy.

From the creation of our Italian recipes to the delicate touch in crafting our pasta shapes, every step is carefully executed to deliver a product that brings joy to your taste buds.
